Geoffrey was special in so many ways. My Team and I miss him . I was really saddened to hear of his passing from Dr. James.
Geoffrey was a patient who touched my heart and I will forever remember him. I can only imagine the huge loss that you and Marco must be feeling. We are all blessed to have met and interacted with Geoffrey.

Geoff was a giant amongst men. The resolve and the heart that man carries….
My heart goes out to you Santa, you supported him with unremitting reverence and nobility.
It was an honor to walk the journey with your family. May Geoffrey remain close to you always.
His light is bright, and he will be guided amongst angels, in the best version of himself.
I am here if you need anything at all.
Your family is in our prayers.
Kind Regards,
Dr. James Laporta

Welcome
Good afternoon. My name is Lucy. I want to extend a warm welcome to you all as we meet for Geoff’s party, a time for everyone to celebrate a wonderful man who truly left his mark on this earth.
Geoff was a loyal and loving husband to Santa, a devoted father to Marco, a son, a brother, an uncle, cat daddy to Clawdia, who is here with us today and a best friend to so many.
Of course, this is a desperately sad time for everyone, but Geoff had specifically requested that he wanted to be remembered for the man he was and did not want a morbid and sad service. Geoff was amazingly positive and great fun. He never took life too seriously and his motto was to never give up.
He helped plan today’s ceremony, and one of his ideas was to theme this party, as he loved dressing up. He thought it would be fitting that everyone wear something beginning with the letter G. However, Santa pointed out that many outfits beginning with G might not be appropriate and conceded she would have to dress as a gherkin! So instead, they decided dressing up in bright and colourful clothing would be a great compromise, so thank you for filling this room with colour. I am sure Geoff would have been very pleased with all your efforts.
To start the party, Santa will pay tribute to her beloved Geoff…

And hearts full of love for having had the privilege of knowing you.
